On Friday, May 9, Dr. Bertucci and Washington County Extension will host the Composting in Action Field Day. This event will showcase multiple home composting strategies and techniques and will also showcase larger scale composting heaps, similar to the municipal or commercial scale operations. Come join us whether a beginner, a hobbying, or an experienced gardener. We’ll be giving away compost to anyone who brings their own 5-gallon buckets (while supplies last!).
