In this video, Yeshi Wamishe discusses rice fungicide management. She walks us through fungicide application timing and the impact of application volume on the efficacy of fungicides.
Wamishe is an associate professor of plant pathology and extension rice pathologist working out of the Rice Research and Extension Center in Stuttgart. Wamishe’s research efforts focus on ways to manage common rice diseases through foliar fungicide applications and seed treatments. In addition, she develops disease ratings for new and commercial rice cultivars to aid in grower planting decisions.
