In this presentation, Professor and Extension Cotton Agronomist Bill Robertson and Mississippi County Extension Staff Chair Ray Benson, describe the path of cotton to cutout. Three weeks from the first flower to cutout is adequate to produce the desired yield. Cutout marks the point that the last bolls that will contribute significantly to yield and profit are established on the plant and mark the basis for input termination.

A special thank you to Arkansas cotton producers, the Arkansas Cotton State Support Committee and Cotton Incorporated for their support of many of our research projects.
