Research Focus

In partnership with Arkansas State University, the Agricultural Experiment Station conducts research with faculty in the ASU College of Agriculture. ASU scientists work collaboratively with other Division scientists on a number of research projects with an emphasis on “Resilient Agricultural Systems in the Arkansas Delta.” Resilient agriculture encompasses three primary research areas: (1) sustaining water quantity; (2) water, soil, and air quality stewardship; and (3) climate variations. Collaborative research is done at the Northeast Research and Extension Center and at the Judd Hill Plantation.
