Cost is head/brain removal + overnight shipping cost. Official ADH rabies shipping bucket and shipping box must be included with the submission.

Always call the lab before sending animals for necropsy to confirm a diagnostician is available.
Cases involving potential litigation cannot be accepted by the laboratory.
Insurance cases must be stated and will be evaluated on a case by case basis prior to accepting.
Animals cannot be returned to owners due to public health/safety concerns. With prior arrangements, animals may be picked up by a cremation service company.
